About Me

Olufunlola is an accomplished realtor and versatile banker with special interest in Asset and Funds Management from which her passion in realty began.

She is an alumnus of the prestigious Imperial College, London where she studied Masters of Science in Finance. In addition, she holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Lagos and a BSc degree in Microbiology from University of Ilorin.Olufunlola was a council member/Trustee of the Association of Pension Fund Managers in Nigeria (APFN) and was awarded a Senior Honourary Membership of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN). She is a member of the prestigious Institute of Directors (IOD) and serves in the technical sub-committee of the IOD House & Infrastructure Committee. Olufunlola has attended various courses locally and internationally with the most recent being at the London School of Economics where she finished with distinction in Real Estate Economics & Finance.

Her banking experience began with Guaranty trust Bank in 1991 where she worked for nine years and left as the Head of Funds Management. She was headhunted to restructure the investment department of First trustees Nigeria Limited (A wholly owned subsidiary of First Bank PLC), where she turned the company into a major player in Asset Management. Consequently, her proven track record took her to the hitherto moribund NAL Trustees, which she restructured and rebranded to NAL Asset Management & Trustees (NAMTL), currently known as SAMTL. Her leadership in NAMTL moved the company to become a fore player in the property market,
a position still held by the company.

In 2006, Olufunlola founded an asset management outfit, which provides real estate development, financing and consulting services to high net-worth individuals, executives of corporate organisations and senior expatriates in multinational companies. She has run this business successfully for over a decade.

Olufunlola offers advisory services in finance and real estate. She has delivered papers at seminars in Nigeria and abroad.
